What it is
The Queensland First Home Owner Grant is a one-off payment for eligible first-home buyers who buy or build a brand-new home. It generally doesn't apply to established homes.
Who it's for
First-home buyers purchasing or building a new property up to the relevant value cap, who meet residency and occupancy requirements.
How it works
The grant is typically paid around settlement - or the first progress payment for a build - and can often be applied through your lender as part of the finance process.
